Who operates FitMom

FitMom Wellness is owned and operated by Melburn Brown in Kansas. Privacy questions and account-data requests may be sent to support@fitmomwellness.com or submitted through the Contact page.

Information FitMom collects

FitMom collects the information you choose to provide when creating and using your account, including:

  • Account information: your email address and profile name.
  • Plan preferences: age, number of children, fitness level, preferred workout length, nutrition preference, stress level, sleep quality, and primary wellness goal.
  • Activity and progress: completed workouts, challenge progress, daily habits, steps, water, meals, energy, and activity history.
  • Optional wellness information: weight, goal weight, waist measurement, sleep, and mood. You may leave optional fields blank.
  • Community information: posts, comments, likes, display name, and the dates associated with that activity. Posts and comments are visible to other FitMom members.
  • Support information: your name, email address, message, and the status of your support request.
  • Email-offer information: your first name, email address, signup source, consent record, subscription status, and unsubscribe preference when you request a free resource or promotional email.
  • Technical, security, and measurement information: IP address, browser and device information, authentication events, session technology, request records, security logs, referring site, page path, campaign tags, and a pseudonymous browser-session identifier. FitMom uses local and session storage to preserve campaign attribution and avoid counting the same page repeatedly during a session.
  • Membership and payment identifiers: membership status and the Stripe customer and subscription identifiers used to manage billing. Stripe processes payment-card details; FitMom does not store your complete card number.

How information is used

FitMom uses this information to authenticate your account, keep member information separated, operate and personalize your dashboard, recommend workouts and recipes, save progress, provide challenges and community features, measure visits and conversions, understand which FitMom campaigns lead to signups and paid memberships, manage membership access and billing, respond to support requests, deliver requested free resources and consented promotional email, honor unsubscribe choices, protect the service, and meet legal obligations.

Optional wellness information and consent

Weight, goal weight, waist, sleep, mood, energy, stress, and similar wellness information are optional and are not used to diagnose or treat a health condition. Before FitMom saves this information, the app presents a notice at the point of collection and requires your affirmative consent. FitMom records the notice version, date, and related action to document that consent. FitMom uses the information to personalize your plan and display your private progress. You may skip optional fields, stop submitting this information, or request its deletion. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that occurred before withdrawal.

Community information

Posts and comments are visible to other FitMom members. Do not share medical, financial, contact, or other sensitive personal information in the community feed.

Service providers and disclosure purposes

FitMom discloses information to service providers only as needed to operate, secure, and support the service:

  • Supabase provides account authentication and secure sign-in. It processes email addresses, account identifiers, and authentication activity.
  • Resend delivers sign-in links, requested free resources, transactional messages, and promotional email you consent to receive. It processes recipient addresses, message content, and delivery information.
  • OpenAI Sites and Cloudflare host and deliver the website, run its server functions, store member and application data, and provide security and technical logs. They may process account identifiers, submitted content, wellness entries, device or request information, and service activity for those purposes.
  • Stripe provides checkout, payment processing, subscription management, and the billing portal. Stripe processes payment and billing information. FitMom receives customer and subscription identifiers, membership status, and limited billing details, but not complete payment-card numbers.

FitMom may also disclose information when reasonably necessary to prevent fraud or abuse, protect members or the service, comply with law, or respond to valid legal process.

No sale or targeted advertising

FitMom does not sell personal information, share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, or use personal information—including wellness information—for targeted advertising.

Member privacy rights

All members may ask FitMom to:

  • confirm whether FitMom has their personal information and provide access to it;
  • provide a downloadable copy in a portable electronic format where reasonably feasible;
  • correct inaccurate personal information;
  • delete personal information, including optional wellness entries and community content; or
  • limit or withdraw consent for future use of optional wellness information.

Submit a request through the Contact page or email support@fitmomwellness.com. FitMom will confirm receipt and verify that the requester controls the account, normally through a secure sign-in link sent to the account email and, when reasonably necessary, matching information already associated with the account. FitMom will request only the information needed to verify identity. Some information may be retained when reasonably necessary for security, fraud prevention, transaction records, dispute resolution, or legal obligations. FitMom will not discriminate against a member for making a privacy request.

If applicable law provides additional rights—such as California rights to know, delete, correct, opt out of sale or sharing, or limit certain uses of sensitive personal information—FitMom will honor those rights as required. Because FitMom does not sell or share personal information for targeted advertising, there is no sale or advertising-sharing program to opt out of.

Breach response and notification

FitMom investigates suspected unauthorized access, acquisition, or disclosure of personal information; works to contain the incident; preserves relevant evidence; coordinates with affected service providers; and evaluates notification duties under applicable law, including the FTC Health Breach Notification Rule when relevant. When notification is legally required, FitMom will notify affected members and the appropriate regulators—and the media when required—without unreasonable delay and within applicable deadlines. A notice will describe the incident, the information involved, protective steps members can take, FitMom’s response, and how to get help.

Security and retention

FitMom uses reasonable safeguards, but no online service can promise absolute security. Account, plan, wellness, activity, challenge, and community information is kept while the membership is active or until it is deleted through member controls or a verified request, subject to limited legal exceptions. Support information is kept while the request is handled and for a reasonable period needed to document the resolution. Email-offer records are kept while you remain subscribed and for a limited period afterward to document consent and honor unsubscribe choices. Billing and transaction records are kept for applicable tax, accounting, fraud-prevention, and dispute periods. Subscription consent and acknowledgment evidence is kept for at least three years or one year after termination, whichever is longer. Security logs are kept only for the operational and security period set by the relevant provider. Deleted information may remain in restricted backups until those backups expire; verified consumer-health deletion from backups will be completed within six months where Washington law applies.
